Exporting your story

Our built-in e-reader is great, but sometimes you may want to share a story to an e-ink device (like a Kindle), or download a PDF to share as a physical storybook!

In this guide, we’ll show you how to save your stories as files, and how to customise the PDF with fonts, text sizes and paragraph and image spacing.

Getting started

To get started, open up the reader view for one of your stories.

Downloading your story is easy - just click the “download PDF” button on the menu bar.

Just like the e-reader, you can customise the font and text size from a variety of easy to read options.

Additionally, let’s talk about content spacing. By default, your PDF will be in spacious mode - this places each paragraph and image on a new page, which leaves large margins for notes, doodles, or chances to pause in between pages. Alternatively, you can use the preferences menu and set spacing to tight, which will reduce the margins between paragraphs and images, which looks closer to a regular book style.

To get a feel for these options, why not download a few different versions? Once you’re happy, print your story and share with a reader!
